Many scientists are credited for their innovations in the field of radio communication. Nikola Tesla also made his contribution to the discovery of the radio in 1895. However, he was not successful enough with his study because a fire conflagrated his laboratory thus wasting the results of his experiment. Nevertheless, on the other part of the globe, a lucky man in the person of Gugielmo Marconi was successful with his experiment. He was able to transmit the first message which was the letter “s” through wireless telegraphy.
Tesla wanted to make his patent for his radio transmission development. However, Marconi also filed a patent for it. Many scientists actually fought over for the credit of inventing the radio. But, it was Tesla who was given the official rights for inventing radio signal communication. Marconi’s patent was rebuffed in favor of Tesla’s.
